What is Tretinoin Cream?
Tretinoin cream is a topical medication derived from vitamin A, used for the treatment of acne, skin aging, and wrinkles. Tretinoin cream is primarily used for mild forms of acne. For more severe cases, Tretinoin cream is used in combination with other medications.
How does Tretinoin Cream work?
Tretinoin cream works by promoting cell turnover in the epidermis, which helps the old layer of skin shed more quickly. As a result, pores are less likely to become clogged, acne breakouts are reduced, and the overall texture and appearance of the skin improve.
Apply a thin layer of Tretinoin cream to clean, dry skin once daily before bedtime. Use sunscreen during the day, as Tretinoin can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.

Past een behandeling bij jou, dan krijg je een advies en een recept. Past het niet of is lichamelijk onderzoek nodig, dan verwijst de arts je door naar je huisarts of een dermatoloog en betalen we je volledig terug.
Crèmes op recept bevatten werkzame stoffen zoals tretinoïne of adapaleen, waarvan de werking bij huidaandoeningen is onderzocht. Ze kunnen eventueel ook bijwerkingen geven, daarom moet een arts ze voorschrijven. Drogisterijproducten zoals retinol of niacinamide zijn milder. Ze kunnen de huid verzorgen, maar hebben bij acne, rimpels of pigment meestal geen of minder effect.
Je medicatie komt van onze eigen apotheek en wordt discreet verpakt thuisbezorgd. Na goedkeuring door de arts ontvang je je bestelling meestal binnen 48 uur. Ja, tretinoïne, adapaleen en erytromycine-crème zijn in Nederland alleen verkrijgbaar op recept. Een arts moet eerst beoordelen of het middel geschikt is voor jouw huid en situatie.
Nee, tretinoïne en adapaleen zijn niet geschikt als je zwanger bent of zwanger wilt worden. Stop direct en neem contact op met de arts als je zwanger raakt.
